How do I get the correct corset size?

We will make your corset to measure from the measurements you provide to us. Its very important to measure yourself correctly – please ask us for help & advice if you need it, and check the info on our Sizing & Measuring page! Front lacing corsets are usually 2” smaller, and back-lacing/busk corsets are 4” smaller than your actual waist size. Our Wasp-Waist corset is made with a 6" reduction as standard, simply because it is so easy to lace down and the fabulous silhouette it gives cannot be achieved with only 4" reduction. If you feel you need to provide further information, eg hip measurement, height etc, please do; we are happy to accommodate all shapes and sizes! We will also email you our full and detailed measurement chart to complete upon request - just call or email us!

How do I put it on?

Your corset will be delivered cross-laced. Loosen the laces and put on the corset. Tighten the corset by drawing the lacing closed, and pulling the waist-level loops and tying in a bow. It’s sometimes easier to do this whilst sitting on a bed, so that the corset stays in position! Dont try to achieve your maximum reduction straight away - let the corset warm up for a while and start to shape itself to your body before tightening it fully. How do I care for my corset?

Always treat your corset with care. Remember that a corset is subject to extremes of tension – unlike any other garment - and no corset will last you forever, but if you look after it carefully it will serve you well. Man-made or cotton fibres (eg Duchesse Satin, Coutil) can be carefully hand-washed. Silks should be dry cleaned by a specialist. We do offer a repair service.

Do Heavenly Corsets come with suspenders?

Detachable suspenders are available in black or white at £10.00 for 4 suspenders. Matching suspenders are also available for most corsets (these are not detachable) at £15.00 for four. You can find these on our Accessories page.

Do you cater for TG clients?

Yes, absolutely! Every Heavenly Corset design is suitable for the TG figure, and as a high proportion of our clients are TG, we have years of experience of creating a cut that is quite exceptional. We like to take just a few more measurement details to ensure a really well-fitting corset, so please email Elle direct at elle@heavenlycorsets.com so that we can let you know just what extra information we will need and email you a full measurement chart to complete.

How quickly will my corset be ready?

Amazingly, we make and ship most corsets within 5 working days, but please allow 15 working days before contacting us if you have not received your order. Most made-to-measure corset suppliers state delivery times in excess of Two Months, which is staggering! After all, we certainly wouldn’t want to have to wait that long so we’re sure you wouldn’t!
